The problem of water scarcity has been increasing in the last decade. Trust in Capta Hydro's solutions to manage and optimize one of your most important inputs: your surface or groundwater sources.
Inefficiency and lack of visibility in distribution, along with increasingly variable flows, have decreased the security of surface water for irrigation for many agricultural producers. Fortunately, many of these challenges can be addressed with our solutions.
AgriChile identified that its energy costs were constantly increasing, mainly due to the greater dependence on groundwater sources compared to surface water, which had decreased significantly in recent seasons.
While part of the decrease was explainable by drought, after analysis, it concluded that a significant part was only explainable by the great inefficiency in the distribution of the canal user association to which it belongs.
However, it did not have "hard" data to monitor and rectify the situation, so it contacted Capta Hydro for a comprehensive water source control project to solve this problem. Discover it below.
Continuous monitoring of the flow and volume received from the canal, along with alerts to detect reductions, allowed AgriChile to assert its water rights more effectively with the Water Use Organization (OUA).
